☀️ Welcome to July, my friends!
It’s unbelievably bloody hot, right? The pavements are melting and so am I. While normal people are sipping Pimm’s in parks and pretending to like each other, I’ve been sprinting between gigs, sweating through my clothes and trying not to slip off the stage in a puddle of my own drippings. Gross!
These days, I’m less shining on stage and more glistening like a rotisserie chicken.
Note to venues – can you please invest in some air con? Or at least a fan?
Kind regards,
A comedian whose mascara is currently sweating into her eyes and mouth.

🎟️ 2nd July at The Gaffe – Funny Women Awards!
Despite previously swearing off comedy competitions (because competing with your mates is emotionally complicated), I caved and entered this one. Past winners include some of my absolute faves - Katherine Ryan, Jayde Adams and Desiree Burch.
Come along and support me (if you see this in time)!

🚁 21st July – Heli Laughs at Bristol Old Vic
This one’s going to be epic. The brilliant Great Western Air Ambulance Charity is hosting another round of their annual comedy fundraiser, Heli Laughs, and I’ve been lucky enough to be involved every year (so far!). It’s a cause close to my heart, with a special family connection.
Did I mention the lineup is INSANE?! Angela Barnes, Laura Lexx, Ceyla AB, Jordan Brookes, Stuart Goldsmith, Jin Hao Li… and little ol’ me.

❄️ Tips for surviving the heatwave (comedian style)
Here are my top tips for staying cool in this global-warming-fuelled British summer:
Put ice cubes in your bra. Boobs look better when they’re a bit nippy, and the melted ice blends beautifully with your underboob sweat. So glam!
Carry a bucket. Fill it with cold water whenever possible and stick your feet in. Doesn’t matter when. Doesn’t matter where. Give those piggies a cool bath in Costa if you have to.
Sun cream is your friend. I recommend drawing a little face on the bottle and adding googly eyes so you never forget. Friendly SPF is effective SPF.
That’s enough nonsense from me (for now)
Thanks as always for your support, you lovely humans.
Follow me on the socials, blah blah.
Lots of love,
x
